Ah well, viewer number 10 turned up last night. Wonderful fella from Ireland, looking to buy a house for his student daughter and friends to rent. Loved the house, but once again I get the distinct impression that he's not going to make an offer. There have been so many different people come around each with their own circumstances. It really is a lottery as to whetehr you'll hit that one person for whom your house meets their circumstances.

We have had 5 viewings since Friday when we dropped the price by 5K. So the plan is working, ie more people through the door, we just need to hook the right one!

I've thought about throwing my car and motorbike into the deal, it would be a lot cheaper than knocking much more off the house and would save us 2 more advertising and selling dances!

Sounds a little too quirky so I probably won't bother.

How's everyone else doing? Any light on the horizon?

Hi wayne, thanks for the post. Lots of conditions, could you explain a few of them.

I was hoping to put my notice in conditionally but don't know if my employers could sort the logisitics out.

Cheers
Paul

Still waiting, though we have had a couple of very good viewings and (fingers crossed) they are supposed to be off checking their finances.

In 5 months we have been through 9 Agents! - We like to get value for money...

Feel more confident now that we are booking to travel end of July regardless of house sale and I think it has spurred the last couple on knowing that we will be empty by then, seems more attractive than hearing 'no chain'.

Good luck one and all. :cheers
