 O.K What is the strangest thing that you've done to sell your house? Wayne took our buyer for a 15 mile ride on his Harley motorbike, because our buyer used to have a motorbike years ago. (Wayne says he hugged him most of the journey, male bonding or what!) We have also had the grandson sitting on the motorbike on a separate visit to have his photograph taken. Can anyone do better then that.

Ok we didn't do it, but the thought was there. We thought about advertising this: car for sale. Fiat Punto £150,000,with house thrown in. Thought long and hard but backed off the idea. We're still trying to sell the Punto though.

The strangest thing we've done is knocked 17K off the asking price and offered to pay the stamp duty!
Just done it today because the end of the season is coming and we don't want to be left on the shelf so to speak.
Fingers crossed

I have keep daydreaming about setting up a 'Raffle' - win a house at £50 per ticket.
There's definately enough greedy investors around here to take the gamble.

Hey, that could work - get a bit of publicity and then sell tickets at £1000 each - and bait the hook by limiting the number of tickets to be sold to 500 - then you've made half a mill and someone gets good odds on winning a house for just £1000!!
:P :laugh :laugh

Moorf, I like they way you think! Just require a minimum number of participants, or you could lose money.
