I can't recommend insuring your pet highly enough.

For just $25 a month (or less if dog is under 6 yrs) we get piece of mind - a friends dog has recently had an operation on its back legs which set her back $1200 :eek

Now, if you're already teetering on a budget, that's a hard hit !
