Things seem to be moving quite nicely at the moment. Buyer popped round last night to measure a few things up and to chat about certain items that we were prepared to leave for a price. Went well. He didn't commit to the items, but said he would come back with a decision.

He apologised for any delay that he may have caused,but this was due to him never having to go down this route as a single person before. He asked, when would we like to have it completed by. We quoted end of August and he agreed this was perfect for him.

He made an offer to us which we have taken him up on. He said if we have completed by that time, but there is a delay(for whatever reason) then it wouldn't be a problem for us to stay in the house until our flights. :nice1 This is due to him not moving in immediately.

I think we have the perfect buyer.....sorry Diny :oops:

We've been on the market over 11 weeks now. We've had 5 viewings - they've all said 'lovely house, lovely location' etc but had not 1 offer yet.

Also, the Estate Agents are getting on my nerves - I've told them three times now not to call the home phone during the day because Neil works permanent nights so needs his kip bless him. I've given them my work number and my mobile number with strict instructions etc but guess what? they still insisit on calling home number and waking him up aaaarghhh!!!

Rant over ..... I'm going to go stand in a dark room now and calm down.
