Well, Craig's just been down to London to hand in ITA personally - I was terrified he was going to leave it on the train and or get mugged or something and that would be the end of weeks of work, but he made it!

Apparently the guy there was really friendly and they went through everything to make sure he had included everything (thankfully he had) - he also thanked him for taking photocopies of everything and said they prefer it when people take them in personally because it saves time if something's missing. Anyway, he said we'll get confirmation in about a week and be assigned a case officer in about a month, so I suppose now is when the really frustrating time begins...

Just got to sell the house, have the baby, then we're off...

Phew, bet that's a weight of your mind :nice1 Unfortunately you'll now have to try the patience game again for a while.

Hope they don't keep you waiting to long.

Well done.

We posted our ITA in April (from the netherlands) and by now I wished we would have taken a trip to London to hand it over at NZ House. However, nobody ever mentioned we could do it this way and that it would be faster.

Now we only got an additional question after THREE MONTHS waiting and needing to answer it within a month.

Good luck with your application,
Regards,
Anita
