come on - who is who in the picture. I spotted Helen by her name badge but am dying to know who the rest of them are?

Loved the picture of the two boy and girl together, but really laughed at the sign over the boy's head about glasses. Does this apply to the ones he's wearing :laugh

Good looking kids whoever they belong to.

Good looking kids whoever they belong to.The children are Alex & Georgina, Ali & Phyllis' kids (AKA Sega Mad & 80's chick on another forum). Yes, I didn't even notice the sign behind Alex until I downloaded the photo onto my pc ! Very apt.

I am the lanky one in the yellow t-shirt, with my wife George and our two boys Jude (with me) and Joel (with George). We were in the last meets photos but you might not recognise me as I have had a shave and a haircut since then! :laugh

Cheers,

Chris.

Great pictures John - looks like you all had a great meet. Hopefully we'll be able to make the next one - working some weekends is one of the downsides of shift work for Simon. Guess who wants a regular 9-5 Monday - Friday when we eventually get to the long white cloud. :nice1

Mark and Anne - you must be off soon? (if everything's gone to plan with the vicar?) Are you getting there with the packing and preparation?

Emily,

Yes we are off soon, have tickets held for 11th August for 2 weeks from yesterday. Hopefully we will have exchanged by then, the house sale is going soooooo slow, seemed great luck to sell to a Vicar with no chain, but having a charity buy your house is painfully slow, so everyone beware (just in case there is a glut of vicars ont he market!!!)!

It was quite funny at the meet the other day knowing it would be our last one in the UK. There are quite a few of us going to Christchurch though so I'm sure we'll have some great meets there too. :nice1

They belong to us, Ali and Phyl. We've just joined and I thought this was a good opportunity to introduce ourselves on this forum. We attended the last 2 meetings organised by Debbie and John with our children Alex and Georgina (the kids in the picture). We've a long wait until we start the emigration process (we're looking at a 12-18 month timescale). Both meets were brilliant (with good weather thankfully) and we met some great people. We can be seen in the last picture (I'm wearing the Police t-shirt and Ali's on my right)

Well you'll find lots of friendly people on this site. I'm afraid some of us have a warped sense of humour though

Well you'll find lots of friendly people on this site. I'm afraid some of us have a warped sense of humour though :oops:Gosh, you won't do much better than chat to Ali for a warped sense of humour :P . Here's a quote from him on the subject of Skype abbreviations:
Plugin - Can be used to fill a plug socket like an electronic rawlplug

Spontania4skype - Like the famous 'insania' by Peter Andre but spontanious and compatible with the sky providing that PE (physical Education) is incorporated

Skypeout account - An emitted report about Aerial Physical Education.

VOIP Call - The mating call of a Vole Of Independant Persuasion (An autosexual Vole )

IPAQ PDA - Inter Personal Amplitude Quotient - Parental Dependant Adult (A fat old person still living with, but philosophically divided from their parents)

NZ - Nebula Zoological (Like the northern lights but made of animals rather than ionised particles in a magnetic field and only found in the southern hemisphere)

By the way, a Magnetic Field is where they grow Compasses.
I particularly like the one on VOIP! He crack's me up! :clap :clap
