I know that there will be an EOI selection on July 5. Does anyone know how long it takes before you hear if you've been selected? Is the website updated before you are contacted?

Since I'm also from the states, I thought I'd share my timeline to date.

EOI submitted on 5/20/05
Status changed to Selected on 5/25/05
Status changed to Successful on 7/4/05

I haven't received any communication from NZIS. So in my case, the website is how I've followed the progress on the EOI.

Thanks for the information. Now that I've submitted my EOI, I'm having a difficult time being patient, but it looks like I'll have to wait at least 5 days.

I assume the "successful" status means you should be expecting an ITA in the mail soon? That's great! Good luck!

We submitted our EOI last week ready for this weeks selection.

Our difference is that we are already here in NZ on a talent visa, so things are not so crucial to us, however I am with you on the impatience problem!!!

Patience is a virtue (apparently), let us know how yours progress'

I think the next selection will take place tomorrow July 6 (NZ time). I am also in this waiting game. Mine was selected March 30 and i havent got my ITA. I'm a patient person but really it gets tested here.
