Can anyone give me an idea re the below?
I am migrating as an electrician and have been given WTR until I get a job and work for 3 months at which time I will get upgraded to PR

does anyone know if, after receiving PR, would I be able to stop working as an electrician and do something else or would I have to stay as an electrician as that is how I get /got PR???

Nick as far as I am aware once the 3 months is up and you get PR then you can do as you wish, just the same as anyone on unrestricted PR.

I agree with paul. I think once you've done your time on your visa conditions, so to speak, the world is your oyster ( or job market anyway )
