Still in the middle of completing EOI, and on checking back with the Points indicator I have a couple of questions.
Under the section dedicated to Relevant Work Experience...
Number of years of relevant experience (anywhere) I HAVE 10 YEARS
Number of years of relevant experience in New Zealand NO EXPERIENCE IN NZ
Number of such years experience in any one of NZ's:
OK THIS IS THE BIT IM INTERESTED IN... I HAVE REAL EXPERIENCE IN ALL OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS, ALL GAINED IN THE UK
* identified future growth areas? YES - BUT GAINED IN THE UK
* identified clusters? YES - BUT GAINED IN THE UK
* areas of absolute skills shortage? YES - BUT GAINED IN THE UK
Was the work experience gained in a comparable labour market? YES - THE UK !
So in short does my UK experience in identified areas of future growth, identified clusters (Information Technology & Comms), and areas of absolute skills shortage give me extra points.
As it is I am standing at 105 points and a few extra would make me feel that much more secure come selection time.
Thanks
Tee
