A quick question for all you lucky people already in NZ.What is the cost of the medicals and Xrays if we have them done there. It looks like there is no chance of us getting a job offer before our UK ones expire so we are looking at the costs we will incur once we are there.
Thanks very much to anyone who can help

My husband recently paid
$47 for doctors, which included blood tests
$65 for the xray

Debbie, We had our medicals done by Dr Premath at Dover and it was fine .The area and surgery itself was a bit grotty but the Dr was jovial and quick which was more important!
We had the xrays done at the Buckland which again was a bit grotty but it was all straightforward and they obviously had dealt with NZ cases many times before.
Dr Premath does all his correspondence via email which is handy but my husband had to go back to Dover just to pick up the files and the actual Xrays.
He does seem to get booked up well in advance so give yourselves plenty of time

Hi all, can anyone answer my (probably daft) question

We’ve just had our medicals in the UK and are waiting for them so we can return our ITA.
We are applying for PR from the UK.

Do we have to have another set of medicals when we get to NZ

I hate having medicals!
