Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience of applying for telecomms jobs in NZ?

We were selected from the EOI pool on the 1st September with 115 points and no job offer. I have sent off a few on-line applications, mostly to Telecom NZ with no luck yet, but a worrying thing happended yesterday.

An agency called key recruitment were advertising in Destination New Zealand for people with trades on the OSL (telecomms is). I had a reply back saying that in 6 years of operating, despite telecomms being on the OSL, they had never found a job for anyone in that area.

Now I'm starting to panic, so if anyone has any stories to contradict this it will help put my mind at rest.

Hey don't worry too much.
I found a job in telecomms (development engineer) from over here through the internet. Met them in Paris and now I'm expecting a firm offer within the next week or so.
And there seemed to be quite a few jobs in this field, just keep your eyes open :nice1
