Hi everybody,
We have been in NZ for almost 8 months now. We moved from Western Canada and first settled down in Christchurch where Rob got a job teaching in a high school there. That didn't work out and he quit after one month. We then went on a road trip all over the country (or almost) and have seen a lot of different areas (We missed the Invercargill area and the East Cape which we hope to visit soon). We are now in Palmerston North where Rob got a job teaching at Massey.
If you have any questions about teaching (high school or post-secondary), Palmerston North and the Manawatu or about homeschooling in NZ, please let us know. If you have questions about other areas that we have visited (from Kerikeri to Te Anau!), ditto (although our comments would be more of a general nature). We do not check the forum regularly, but pm us and we will answer right away.
