I'm hoping to book my flight to NZ by the end of next week with ANZ (for arrival in Sept) but the strike is making me nervous. Does anyone know if it has had an impact or how serious it might get?

Super! Thats great to know. I had visions sitting in an airport somewhere unable to leave for NZ or get back to the US.
