Hi Phil & Shell
More PN people. Wow - we'll beat that Christchurch lot yet. When are you coming out? I just tried to look at your old posts, but doesn't seem to be working.
Does this mean you have a job lined up in PN? We're hoping to maybe have a beach barbie on New Year's Eve, SoCal Gal is up for it and Pakeha Boy/Diny and maybe Moorf can make it up here for then if she hasn't opened her second-hand bookshop/coffee shop/sea-cucumber delicatessen. :laugh and Rae, too soon for Melissa :no

Hi Dave and Sandra,
Good to make some contacts in PN. We were keen on Hawkes Bay but you seem to get more for your money in Palmy area + we like the sound of 'Knowledge City' with the Uni for the kids etc. Property looks better value and we've heard that the cost of living is the cheapest of all the NZ cities. Do you agree?
When? We were hoping before xmas or in time for the schools next year but thats maybe unrealistic. We've got a buyer for the house but they haven't sold yet so who knows. We may come for a look around before we move it all depends on the timings and money etc.
How is it going with you? Hope your finding your feet, did I read you had probs finding work?
All the best Phil and Shell

Dave & Sandra, and Phil & Michelle, and everyone selected, congratulations! That is so awesome. I know that it is such a relief to find yourself oficially selected!
So now my advice (coming from my VAST experience gained in the past two weeks LOL) is to stock up on the Prince V or NZ wine or do whatever it is that you do to relax (me, hiking and scuba diving) because waiting for the word that the ITA is on its way (or even any snippet of information indicating that they are processing your EOI) is Hell!
Phil & Michelle, its great to know we will have yet more folks in the Palmy area....we really are catching up to the CCh gang! We might have to have some sort of Palmy-CCh picnic or something!
