:clap Hi all, just to let you know our good news!!!!!!!!!! Our contract on the house sale finalised today :nice1 :nice1 Good thing really as all our worldly possions went off in a container yesterday. You would never believe what they can fit in those metal boxes. I thought that there was no way that all our stuff would fit, motorbike & contents of a 2 bedroom bungalow & workshop. But it only filled about two-thirds of the container :roll: We were looking around for anything else to throw in at the last minute!
We now have the garden furniture in the lounge, & our son has a mattress on the floor to sleep on :laugh he says he likes it, it's comfortable. So we are here until the 8th August, then we fly out to NZ. :exit Trudy

It is amazing how much you can stuff in a container. We had the contents of a large 3 bedroom house, plus an office and still there was about a 6 foot space at the back. Wish to God I'd stocked up on Ikea furniture !!!

All we have to do now is persuade parents to fly via the US with Hand luggage only (some chance) so that they can bring 2x32kgs each of Ikea
