Good luck with the sale Hannah. Got a question for you. Whats the housing market like over in the Netherlands? As you are probably aware, the market over here in the UK has basically ground to a halt. Just hoping the next interest rate decrease will see one or two of us making that journey soon.

Good luck Hannah, ours took 3months to sell, had lots of viewers in the first 2weeks, in the end our very first viewers bought it. :P Housing market seems to have slowed down, i have a look now and again on the limburgs wonen website, there are still a few houses, which were for sale before we left. Hope you sell yours quickly, then you will be in time for the summer here :clap

Hannah,
Good luck with the house sale. I'll keep my fingers crossed that all goes smoothly. May the window washing days in this house soon be a thing of the past :laugh . Remember mine are always available if you feel the urge coming on to clean.

Thanks all for the good luck wishes! :nice1
We have not heard of the first viewers yet, neither did the estate agent, but we're having our second viewers on monday.
Please send them some positive thoughts. Not that the house needs it badly, but we have an offer to live in another house for free, (till it gets sold, which might take a few more months cause of the price) Or we have to rent a nice place, not bad either, but that will cost us a monthly rent. So if we can we'll go for the free place, but that will start september, the other place is for october...
Decisions, decisions.
Will keep you updated... still in the process of collecting stuff, waiting for september (IELTS test and Medicals)

Viewer number 3 bought the house and guess what ... they are neighbours a little bit further along in our street!! Yes when we heard it, we were flabbergasted (I love that word and it's very appropriate here I think!) Anyway one worry less.
Oh and we did the IELTS test with an overall band score of 7.5 and we did the medicals too, we needed an extra specialist report, which took about 4-5 more weeks of our ITA time ( the 4 months) so now it's on we go to complete the ITA package before the end of this month!
Nice to be back!

Hi Marie, nice to see you, still here? How did that interview go? Any news on your ITA yet? I have been sort of missing in action, because of that medical thing with our oldest, and stress levels got too high at a certain moment, but things are cooling down again. :nice1
Hello Femke, we hope to know for sure in 2 to 4 months? Would that be a reasonable amount of time for the NZIS to decide? :)
Hiya Ingrid, we missed you last saturday, how was the Expo? I hope you wont get cramps because of all that crossing ;)
Ivy! Yes lots of packing, first we go to live in the house of friends, because our house will be someone else's on dec 14, lol. Don't think NZIS will work that fast, so we came prepared.
It's so good to be back here, but I had to concentrate on what I was doing...

Hi hannah,
We've miss you. Glad to hear that everything is finally OK with your eldest one. A fright like that takes all your time and concentration and realy puts all the stress and waiting associated with this emmigrating into perspective.
Here's wishing you plan sailing from here on.
Debbie
