Hi

well flights booked, so all happening now, scary!!!! but kewl.

my question is ? does anyone have any experience of taking their desktop pc with them, im taking my small form pc and my 17 inch flat screen with me, after reading the customs website for singapore and their strict legal code should i worry.

also i keep my CD library on my ITUNES on my pc, i read they dont like copied stuff being brought in, should they have a problem with this at custome, will they even check.

being a single male traveller should i expect the rubber glove treatment???

thanks

have no knowledge of it personally, but do you have to check out at singapore. I have sen computor boxes on the baggage claim so would think you wouldnt be alone. my own feeling is they won't be bothered at this end but if you have a receipt from when you bought it it would make life easier if there is a quiery.

Hi Dave glad to see there is another single traveller going out there! When do you go? I have decided to stopover in Singapore for a couple of days to break the journey. My house though is holding me back so far. Just got to live in hope that it sells.

Hi Dave,

I'm Vincent and a true bred Singaporean.

Do not worry about your PC. You can bring them in and at Changi, you will not even be asked at the custom as long as you do not act nervous or suspicious. In other words, you will just need to walk through the custom.

The custom is only checking on drugs and pornographic materials nothing else.

Regards.

Vincent

Dave, just don't act suspicious and you will sail through...without a hitch!

Good luck!

Hi Dave

Where are you stopping over, just of interest to me as planning to do something similar.

Heard that Singapore Zoo do night tours, which also sounds good.

Try going through Dubai airport with a radio ham who has his hand held radio stuff with him :eek :eek :eek :eek

I was soooo mad that I missed the shops. :wah :wah :wah
