we were out too, in the sun relaxing on our loungers!
Until the sun went behind a cloud, then it got a bit chilly!

The good ol' Manawatu isn't quite as warm as that but I must admit it's pretty good. Between the hours of about 10 a.m to 3 p.m is quite 'mild' - it's blooming chilly once the sun passes over the yard arm though I can tell you ...... especially inside :(

Well folks, it's the middle of summer here in the UK and yesterday I was out with the children in wellies, macs, jeans and jumpers, but some children were out in wooly hats. I kid you not.

It has been really hot - up near 30 or so. But for the last week or so it's just been rain, wind and more rain.
But it's an English summer (or was) - what else do we expect?

I'm sure there's a thread around here where I posted it was colder here than where we were in Scotland .... I sure hope I didn't also post that I'd eat my hat!! :laugh :laugh
This winter weather is amazing (if not unseasonably mild)!! :nice1

Diny, in my book, when the sun goes over the yardarm, that is time to break the rum out, especially if it a bit chilly, but then I am a bit of an old sea salt so there! :P
Weather here gone back to the usual grey, overcast and showers, but we can't complain after the weather we had here for the last few months.
