Hiya,
We were going to submit our EOI in January 2006. After a long discussion in bed yesterday morning, we've decided to submit it now...yay :clap
But theres two things we'd like help with is possible.
1st one not too serious. Jamies passport expired in April, can we put his old passport number into the EOI and update it when we get the new one through, or do we need to wait? He is the main applicant.
Edited- because I was in a flap over the form, its ok, we get 110 points so theres no need to worry...thought we wernt going to make it then for a moment :eek :uhoh
But you can still answer the question about the passport though :nice1

We submitted our EoI and included Mrs A's passport that runs out in December.
We have been selected from the pool.
We are now in the process of extending her passport.

We decided to renew ours after we had submitted EOI (to save any hassle having to transfer visas into new ones), and just changed the numbers on the form, not sure if you have to have a valid one to start with though?

I didn't know you could renew passports online. We need to do ours before nov when we go on our jols - you have to have at least six months left and ours run out in may.
Will have to do a search and find out how it's done!

Found the site - you fill it in online pay for it then they send theform back to you to sign and enclose photos - might be as quick to get the form from the post office anyway!

We had the same problem, my wife’s passport expired just as we were filling in the EOI.
We posted it (normal application not any sort of priority option) the new passport was in my hand around 10-14 days later, I was gob smacked. :clap
We paid by writing the credit card details on the form, I don’t know if that helped speed it up.
