Waiting for the package to arrive any moment, so we've decided to do some preparatory work.

1. Organised medicals with Dr. Million  in Manchester next Thursday. Long way to go for me, Gil and the 4 kids, but cost is about half what we've been quoted in Cardiff :eek . Thanks (a million :laugh :laugh :laugh to those on this forum who gave us the heads up on Dr. Million's rates :nice1 )

2. Just spent 3 hours searching high and low (mainly in the garage) for my degree certificate and have just found it. Anyone else had any similar struggles getting documents to prove what you said on the EOI has substance?

3. In an amazing act of bravado we even had our house valued today and may even sneak it on the market in the next week or so.

This is all happening faster than I thought - I've not long paid £50 for my Premier Plus subscription and that lasts until May 2006!!!

Anyway, time for some of these :cheers :cheers. Feel free to join me (not you in NZ, well not yet anyway....it's not even 6.00am yet).

you need proof of your relationship too ....joint bills ,photos ,

police checks too ....they take a few weeks .

for your medicals ...you need 2 passport piccies each and we had to download all the forms too.

can't remember anything else ,have to dig my box out again .

Marie xHi Marie, just rooted out birth certificates but can't find Gil's (back in the garage for me then :( ). The two youngest have short certificates but were born in Cardiff so should be OK to collect long versions.

Wedding certificate sorted and proof of relationship should be OK (4 kids for goodness sake ;) ).

Police check forms were handed in to local nick today.

Need to get some more passport pics for the medicals. Dr. Million seems to have done the medical for lots of peeps on here, so he'll presumably know what's needed.

If you do think of anything else, give me a yell.

Thanks again :nice1

I think you also need proof of where you have worked and dates. References are useful.

We were advised to contact the tax office and ask for our work history based on your NI number. They sent us back a long list showing everywhere we have worked since we were teenagers and for how long. This was to prove that we were claiming the correct points for over 10 years experience.

Good luck - this ITA lark is real fun !!!!! We are planning to allocate next weekend to putting everything together, with just the police check not back yet!

Lisa TThanks Lisa. That's really helpful - I've been self-employed most of my working life so I was wondering how I was going to prove work experience (threw out all my financial details in a moment of madness a couple of years ago  ).

Good luck with your ITA, reckon you'll need more than a weekend though ;) :laugh .

Full birth certs required for all!
I wrote to companies worked for to get proof of dates/responsibilities etc.
All is explained in pack. And as for Dr.Millions, you can get the forms from them. Just remember what I told you about the ear ring/pierciing thing - you only had them done recently :nice1

Hi Steve - and thanks for the heads up about Dr. Million - I can't believe we're travelling up to Manchester (for 9.45am :eek ) on Thursday week just to have a medical, but the cost is just too good to turn down.

I see you've put your ITA in - good luck and hope you don't have to wait too long for a decision :nice1
