hi guys,

wanted you to be some of the first people i told this news... just logged on to nzis website and there it was -- decision successful!! ita will soon come!

i cant' help it, i'm shaking... our eois were selected last november 2004, and i was already getting discouraged that most of the filipinos had their own itas even before 2004 ended, but ours hadn't come yet, so...

but now it's coming so i can laugh out loud!

see you soon!!

:laugh :laugh :laugh   :clap :cheers :cheers :cheers :P :P :P

Hi Annie,

Congrats. I know you were about the same batch as me and I am really surprised that you only received your decision sucessful recently.

As they say, better late than never.

hello everybody

thank you thank you for all your greetings, that's why i posted the news at once on this forum coz i know the people here will share the good news with me.

deborah, fortunately i dont bite my nails understress, so mine are still intact. i do however bite the arm of my husband, so i think you ought to ask him how his arm is.. poor guy.. grrrr

diny, yes, i really was worried especially when one by one the filipinos who came to join our quest for the nz dream had their interviews in bangkok then later had their passports stamped so they're all ready to go... and some of them had just lodged their eois what, december, january, february? i nearly considered applying to london, along with the other health care workers from our school, just so i could fly off to another country, even if there were terrorist attacks already...

voth and shagen - thanks to you, i just kept the dream alive, even in the darkest hours. i just told myself, you guys did it, so i should be able to do so too. sounds dramatic, ain't it? well, we're flooded with korean soap operas in manila, so...

anyway, thanks again to all of you for your encouragement and prayers. hope to have a kiwi meet with all of you soon! bring a plate!

cheers
annie

thanks sandra

the postal system here in the philippines is really terrible. the pack hasn't come yet, and it's been 3 days since i first saw the online message. i keep going back to the nzis website just to make sure the decision successful message is still there.

getting paranoid. but, like jesselyn said.. i need more patience. there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Annie, the ITA pack usually comes by courier service. Not the normal mail.

Ours were sent from NZIS Delhi...really India....I think NZIS offices share & distribute their workload. However, I still find it strange that UK applicants receive their ITA packs from NZIS Singapore...and applicants in Malaysia and Singapore receive ITA packs from NZIS Delhi.....not really cost effective.....

All the best Annie, hang in there, there is definitely beautiful radiant light coming into the tunnel soon !! :P  :laugh :yes ;) :cool :smile

Congratulations Annie do you know where you will be heading? Great to hear that you are in healthcare. I am sure your ITA will come in the next couple of days.

hi blue

yes, healthcare, i have a medical degree although i need to take the licensure exam in nz before i can practice; i might practice as a general physician or family medicine dr; if i can get a registrar training spot in obstetrics i might try that too. whatever, i can always go with fitness and health promotion. but i gotta get there first.

aug and feb (great names, by the way - your birthdays?) - thanks for the advice. those here in manila who have received their ita packs say these came from bangkok, one from china. i do hope we receive ours soon, so i know the time frames and we can schedule accordingly.

hope to see you all soon!

:cheers
