This certainly has got me thinking...

I have been trying to figure out what my tax situation would be if I were resident in NZ.

Supposing that I am earning a salary in the 39% NZ tax bracket and earning £800pcm rent in the UK on my property here in the UK. Does that mean that I pay the bottom rate of tax on my rental property to the UK inland revenue or does it mean that 39% of my rental income goes to the NZ inland revenue?

Any ideas?
