Do I need to tip the removers and if so how much?
Or do we just give them a few cans of beer and some chocs?
Any answers in the next couple of hours would be appreciated.

oops might be a bit late for this.
If they have done a good job, I'd tip or give them a pressie. :cheers :cheers :cheers sounds like a good idea.
We've moved 3 times in as many years and they have always earned their money and tip.

We were perhaps a little generous ... gave them a bottle of whisky each. :smile
Gave the container driver a bottle of wine. :smile

Ours were great, we kept them in tea and biscuits all day and because they had to stay near us over night as they were coming back the next day we gave them 20 pounds to get themseves a beer or two.

Thanks for the suggestions We went for the £30 option plus a few jars of honey from Dads bees.
They seemed happy enough.

If they're the ones in the UK then yes if they've done a good job - we gave them our Sky satelite boxes - they were both well chuffed - we were only going to throw them anyway.
In NZ - don't even dream about it!!!! We don't want them getting used to tips over here!!! Just plenty of coffee, tea & biscuits!! Its taken us 6 months to get out of the habit of tipping - I used to feel so guilty for not tipping but now its second nature! ;)
