Well here I am sitting on my plastic garden chair with the keyboard on my knees with only 3 days to go before we fly out :clap :clap
I have been busy clearing the last few loads up the tip , and the computer goes to my parents on saturday, sleeping on mattresses on the floor watching a borrowed telly :nice1
I have closed down many accounts and notified all the companies and had a result I got £1700 payment I wasnt aware I was entitled to , and even got £80+ refund on my council tax :clap :clap :clap
Its strange all this time saying "when we go to NZ" and now the suitcases are packed and we are all walking around in our tattiest clothes ( all going on the final tip run monday 9am)and its 3 days away
How do I feel ??? amazingly calm I thought I would have second thoughts , be getting upset at saying goodbye to so many friends and rellies but all I feel is contented and calm.
I probably wont post here again for a while as I hope to be far too busy buying houses and cars etc to have time to use a computer for a couple of months .
So best wishes to you all and hope get all the success you wish for and hopefully I will meet a few of you on the other side ( sounds spooky !!!!)

And I never thought I would be jealous of someone sleeping on a mattress, sitting on garden chairs, wearing those tip bound clothes, or waving their goodbyes.

But now I'm  :wah  :wah  :wah  :wah  :wah  :wah  :wah  :wah

And you've got spending money too :wah :wah :wah oh no!!!

All the best, have a good 3 days, a brilliant trip and look forward to hearing your experiences from 'the other side'.

Deborah
( there is no emoticon for me sitting here heads in hands and insanely jealous)

Wayne and Trudy

Can't believe its come round so quick. Have a really safe journey and post as soon as you can. I trust with all those rebates you're going to take your old bosses out for a drink

P.S. Have you told the cat yet??? For everyone else, Wayne and Trudy have sold their cat to the new owners as a sitting tenant :laugh

Good luck to you both.

I had that amazing sense of calm, It all goes sideways though when you are in the last few minutes of saying goodbye to the rellies. Also at 5.55am in the street with about 50 people all waving goodbye :wah :wah :wah :wah

No you will be great, after all you are going on a journey of a lifetime!! :nice1

Hi everyone, I thought that I would just add my goodbyes to Wayne's message.
It is really strange but people that you haven't spoken to for ages are getting all upset at our leaving. I find it all a bit false, the great show of emotion on their part, honestly the way they behave is as if you are dying! :wah
I'm looking forward to seeing my family and Ben our son in NZ.
Take care all of you & thanks for all your support in the past.
:cheers Trudy (Wayne's better half) :laugh
