All my worldly goods and pocessions are now packed up and on their way. The guys from Crown were really good. Not everything fitted in the 20ft container though. We had to leave behind two mattresses and a wardrobe. They also missed a pan lid and a mug but I think they can be forgiven that, and they should fit in my luggage.
I am still trying to come to terms that everything has gone. Keep going to get something only to find that we do not have any. I tried to do some baking today. But no scales in our current borrowed house. :wah

We had the contents of a small four bedroom house. The usual sort of stuff.
2 Sofas
3 Chest of drawers
12 chairs
computer
loads of boxes of books
2 single beds
1 double bed
1 king size bed
1 dining table
2 cabinets
sideboard
usual kitchen stuff
one childs bike
a load of junk out of the attic that Peter could not bear to be parted with
It is about 3 weeks until we go. We go to book the flights next week.

Nicola,
Good luck with the move.
Did you know that you might be tight for space and had Crown warn you that it might not all fit before they arrived?
Have a safe trip.
:P :P :P

Best of luck, and here's to reuniting your pan lid with its partner. Try explaining that one away in customs :laugh
