I knew it was too good to be true, a week before exchange and our buyers buyers buyer decides they don't want to move after all!!
The sooner we realise that people can't wreck other peoples lives and we adopt the "Scottish" way, the better!

Are your buyers still interested? Maybe they'll get a buyer for theirs quite quickly - still doesn't help when you were so close.

Awful system we've got here - something has to be done about it.

We knew it was coming, I have been phoning solicitors twice weekly asking for an exchange date but kept getting fobbed off, I think they have been holding it from us for longer than they told us. In a way, I am glad we know what the position is now, the not knowing eats me up!

My house is back on the market as of yesterday, sign hopefully going up tomorrow (private sale initially, no sign), fingers crossed
