it depends just how close you want to be to Manchester Airport:see our post on Medicals?Education forum re Ashton-under-Lyne Travelodge. if you book online, it can be really cheap. We spent our last night in the Uk at the Marriott which is just a hop skip and a jump from the airport. They provide a 24 hours shuttle bus too (in with the price of the room).

I can confirm they sell a mean gin in the bar too !!!!!!!

I think we must be following in your footsteps. We took your recommendation and have just booked up the BK Motor Lodge in Auckland for our first night in NZ.

Thanks for the recommendations I will give them a call. We want to be close to the airport as we need to be there at 8am in the morning to catch our flight. Yehay :clap :clap :clap . Sorry just a little excited that it is all coming together at last.
