Well, it's finally gone in 3 days before the deadline!!!!
Trouble is I'm missing 3 bits of paper.
1. Custody consent for Sarahs daughter-her ex is au fait with NZIS time scales as his sister has done it twice. He is using the consent as leverage for concessions.
2. Police Certificate from Brunei police. They haven't replied at all, and when I tried to send an email to enquire whats taking so long. It can't be delivered........their mailbox is full. Eventually it got returned undelivered. Deep joy! British certs were back within 2 weeks.
3. A letter from my old company giving me a year of W.E. can't be done at site, it has to go to head office in Crawley. Once I got through and was told this they also said we've only just got around to it (they had it 4 weeks!)

So what happens now, do we just get binned or do they expect this sort of thing?

Cheers

No I'm sure you won't get binned. When we put ours in, the nice NZIS guy said we would need a couple more bits and we have written off for them while our ITA is being ground through.

Ours went in without the NZQA cert....a key document as without it we hadn't enough points. NZIS gave us another month to get this to them :)

Have you asked them what you should do? I'm sure you won't get 'binned' but it would probably be best to inform them and that it is due to circumstances beyond your control! I'm sure they must come up against things like this all the time!

Good luck

i agree with kate. you should inform the nzis about the problems cropping up, that's really out of your control, maybe they can give you an extension, since you already submitted your ITA anyway. the vo's prefer to be informed of whatever, so they know how to reply to you

good luck
