My 17 year old has decided to wait till we get to NZ to learn to drive, and the one shining attraction for my 14 year old is that she can learn at 15 over there. I'm after recommendations for driving schools (assuming that's how it works) in the Auckland area.....
Thanks,
Gil

Hello Gil

AA provides door to door service, pick up your son and daughter from home and bring them back. Per person, the charges are $50 per hour or package of 5 one-hour lessons for $235. Just ring AA on 09-9668055.

Gil, here the father, mother, aunty, uncle, grandfather, grandmother (in another words, any one in the family with a qualified full-licence) could teach their children driving. After that, the children just go for the driving tests to get the licences. Maybe, you could consider this option.
