Is there anyone there who's actually used Letton Percival for their shipping insurance? Did everything go smoothly?

Also, can anyone clarify exactly how this would work: if you insure with someone other than your shippers, are you covered by the shippers for the part that they actually do (packing unpacking taking to and from dock etc) and only by the other guys for the ocean part? Do I still have to do an inventory / replacement value list if doing it this way??

We're going to be using them - I've just signed all the paperwork. They are substantially cheaper than any other I've found and you can specify if you want more than the basic insurance. I had to do a list of contents but it didn't have to be in huge detail and a separate list of all items over £250.00. HTH
