Hi
Can anyone tell me which room would be best to book at kuala Transit Hotel? They give you a choice but don't tell you how many beds etc... The suite is the most expensive (If you can call it that I'm sure I worked it out at = to £25!) I'm presuming that is the biggest. There will be 2 adults and 4 kids. Any ideas anyone? Also I believe you don't have to go through customs etc... you just go straight through to the hotel? Is it all clearly signposted and easy to find or is it a complicated thing?
Any help would be much appreciated!

KL transit hotel - is is the Pan Pacific?

If so we stayed there at Easter - great facilities - we had a sort of suite - one door opened to two rooms both with bathrooms etc. This arrangement was great for a family and included breakfast. We paid around £90-£100 for the night but it was still cheaper than flying with another airline.

We walked a long way (and down a floor) but then a little golf-buggy came and picked us up. As we've come to expect the hotel was excellent, clean and well organised. Breakfast had an unusual choice but we appear not to have had food poisoning! The golf buggy took us back to the airport the following morning with all our luggage. We didn't see much of KL itself but it was a smooth transit.

Hope this is of use!

Thanks for that Lisa! But unfortunatly it isn't that hotel. It's called "The Airside Transit Hotel" we looked at the Pan Pacific, (very nice!) but decided because we are only going to be there for 5 hrs we may as well use the Transit Hotel.
Thanks for that anyway!

Now i stayed at the transit hotel back in 2003. Yes it was very easy to find with little hassle. I was on my own and i was given a room with a double bed in. You could email them and see if you could have 2 room and share the beds. Or they might have a double beded room ,with 2 singles and top to tail. what's the age of your kids? Having more than 2 kids seems to throw most establishement. But you will not find a cleaner airport IMO.
Good luck !

Hi

Thanks for posting this question.
This is what we need to find out too?

What is the price for this hotel per room per night?

If you are transiting in less than 24 hours can you check your baggage straight through rather than go through customs with it.

Hi Jo

No Luggage goes straight through! :clap here is a link to the hotel I found it lists tariffs in Malaysian currency, but if you go to currency converter you should be able to do this to GBP We are going to reserve and pay for it cash when we get there to reduce the CC fraud that seems to be rife over there as well! :(
