Senior .Net Developer/Team Leader

Due to high growth in the company, our e-commerce client now has a requirement for a team leader to head up a team of 4 .Net Developers. The team will be implementing and supporting a large integration solution to a major NZ client.

Your experience as a Senior Developer with extensive experience in developing .Net applications and working throughout the software development lifecycle, combined with some team leading experience, will make you a great candidate for this role. You will also have the capability to work with clients as a Solutions Architect to design enterprise solutions. To complete the picture, you will also ideally have experience with Biztalk Server 2004.

Technical experience and skills in the following is required:
• (Ideally) BIZTALK 2004 SERVER
• ASP.Net
• C#.Net
• SQL 2000, T-SQL, ADO.Net
• ASP, HTML, XML, XSLT
• JavaScript
• Web services
• Web development
• .Net remoting

You will also have the ability to design web solutions and integrate them into existing client systems, the flexibility to lead the solutions design phase as well as cutting code, proven external client-facing experience, the ability to work with clients in a pre-sales role, a methodical and creative approach to problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and top notch team ethics!

I think the reality is, if you have these skills and turn up in Wellington, you'll have to beat the potential employers off with a stick.

If you have these skills ANYWHERE then you will be looking for a very big stick.

I am in IT support and had 2 job offers in 1 day. Knowing that the above skills are rarer, they should command BIG BUCK$.

I agree the IT job market is very good just now, I sent out about 15 CV's on Thursday, I did 5 interviews yesterday, 1 today, with another 4 planned for tomorrow and 2 more each on Thursday and Friday.
