Hiya all

We have had a serious offer on our house and accepted it last Wednesday :raebanana . Looking to complete by November.
We had our medicals last Friday and everything went OK, well apart from Daz.....He was quite disturbed about having another bloke grab his nuts :laugh :laugh . Hopefully Visa's should come though in October, it's all going to plan up to now.
Looking to ship our items out on completion of our house and then fly out early January 06.

Beware New Zealand here we come... :cheers

Excellent news Wendy/Daz. Seems as if the NW crew numbers are slowly dwindling away;)

Brilliant news Wenday ..... Kim's right - the NW crew are getting here bit by bit. It just needed one of us to open the flood gates eh.

Good luck with the sale - fingers crossed for you.

Good luck, sounds like everything's going to plan.:clap

Hi Wendy

Great news. Have you decided where you're going yet? I can't remember but I think you were interested in Nelson/Christchurch. If we manage to sell our house, we'll be flying out to Christchurch January 06 too - maybe see you there!

Good luck

Hey

Wendy, Dazza and little Luke, well done, we have had 2 offers on house this week one £5k short of asking price and one couldn;t get a mortgage, hey ho. But we have flights booked on the 8th Jan Manchester to Akl with Maylasia airlines. they were the cheapest. You never know we could be on the same flight!!!.

Good luck with your completion.

Cheers all,

Nice one Jo, Wendy has a cousin who works for Travelbag so she gave her a bell today for prices. We have decided to have a week in Las Vegas then onto Christchurch, we would be flying with air NZ. She also said that Air NZ have got some good offers on for January.

Well after reading no other men had there nuts checked at there medicals, I am a little upset. Think I'm going to need counselling to get over this one :laugh :laugh

Hi Wendy,

Hiya all

well apart from Daz.....He was quite disturbed about having another bloke grab his nuts

believe me I can sympathise with Daz - exactly the same happened to me! I was, how shall I put it.....somewhat surprised by the experience! The guy did ask me if it was ok, but then had reached, grabbed and squeezed all within 1 second, no chance to decline. I knew there was a reason I didn't go to GP's.

Rachel found it very amusing when I finally managed to speak again.

Was your GP in Essex by any chance? (it may be just one rogue!)

Take care,

John

I have just joined the forum and am looking forward to some finding out lots of "interesting " stuff from you all. Our NZIS medicals are booked for 4th October. What do they involve ? - bit worried now as I think my 13 year old son will have a massive freak out and refuse to leave his bedroom for the next 10 years never mind move 12,000 miles !! PLease help,
Tracey
