We will be moving to Auckland in December and are considering buying/renting a property in one of the Northern Bays. Does anyone have any knowledge of Torbay/Browns Bay area?

Have been living in Torbay for last 6 months, pls just email if you have any questions. I can tell you that the beaches are great and quite safe, the drive to the city can take an hour in rush hour :uhoh , there is a high population of Brits/South Africans in the bays, the housing is cheaper because you are further from the city.
