:nice1 After having e-mailed NZIS about not receiving confirmation of them receiving my ITA, I then received an e-mail from my (now assigned!) case officer asking me to arrange a date for my phone interview! Isn't that always the case? :yes
Less than the two months stated for assignment. The worrying thing is I starting to get a little excited now - and the OH, Jan is in the land of nod, and I so much want to wake her up and tell her the news... but being a gentleman I'll wait until morning.
Fingers crossed folks.

Thanks for the wishes everyone. Well, sorry to disappoint you all, but I left Jan asleep and told her this morning! We had a good little chat about it and I told her that I e-mailed the case officer back last nite. Requested interview next Monday between 11 and 1400. Got my reply today, he happy with that so it is fushing around the forum now looking for those questions! LOL.
Trying to keep my feet on the ground and not get too carried away, but after the day I had I can't wait!!

Wonderful news....
Be as positive and as realistic as possible during your interview and all will be fine.
Your case officer will mainly be interested in your job prospects and what steps you are going to undertake if you do not have a job offer: what is your plan to find a job, what if you do not find a job straightaway? How are you going to deal without your existing network of friends? Do you have relatives over there? Why New Zealand and did you envisage another country?
Normally as you have reached the point of interview, you must have gone through all these questions already and there will be no surprises.
Good luck!
