I have been checking out this forum for sometime now, it has very good information and everyone seems to post very good topics. The one thing I find that I really don't see on the forum is opionons from Canadians, either still in Canada or In NZ. Most opionions/experiences can be translated universially from the UK, US, Asia, etc... but it would still be nice to get some feedback from us Canucks (current or former).

Since I am still in Canada, hoping to head over in 2 years, I don't have any first hand experiences living in NZ to share with you. So if there are any Canucks out there that have anything to say living in NZ, differneces from NZ to Canada, trying to migrate over, etc.... please post your story.

Hi, Chris. If there are a lot of canadians backpacking in NZ, you may want to try the LonelyPlanet Thorntree forums to see what they think, if a Canadian perspective is important to you. The forums aren't really for people actively looking to migrate, but more for people who are travelling. Still, it's another place to look.
