I have been reading with interset the postings of you lucky folks already relocated, commenting about the cold weather in combination with the lack of central heating and double glazing.

What kind of temperature would your front room be at during these cold spells?

I quite like the colder fresh air type atmosphere but my other half is less keen. 16 degrees in the front room for me is good. How does that compare?

Cheers

I know from previous threads about the lack of CH in housing. Does anyone know the cost involved of installing it in the average house?
Can't go without my CH. :laugh

I wouldn't have a clue about the cost of in stalling it but hopefully if you are selling in the uk you should have enough capital to make yourself comfortable. The insulation and double glazing are important too, the lack of is the real reason the house are so cold.
