HI Guys ,

We have 2 sofa bed futon thingy couches ....

We want to just bring the frames and buy new mattresses in NZ .

Has anyone any idea of prices please ?

Not at all sure that is would be true for you, but the mattress sizes seem to be different from what we have here in the US. I'm debating now about just buying new frames and beds there, as well as sheets, so I won't have trouble finding sheets that fit my American beds. So do check sizes online if you can!

Futons are quite popular in NZ and I have seen cheap futon mattresses around the $195 mark but, as tigerlily pointed out, sizes could be different here to that in the UK. You may have to look up the manufacturer of your futon and see if you can get the same make in NZ, or get enough information to see if sizes are the same.
