Has anyone shipped there goods and then stored them once they have arrived in NZ?

Is so where did you store them in Auckland or shoewhere else?

Crown kept our stuff in storage at Auckland for three/four weeks and their quote for the contents of our 40ft container was $374 per month with a warehouse handling fee of $543. The figures depend on the amount and value of your household contents. In our case, we had already agreed a lower figure in the UK, which they honoured.

There is a bigger chance of damage to your stuff as the container has to be unloaded for storage and a lorry has to be reloaded on the date of your delivery. We had several damaged items.
