Hi guys, im in some sort of dilemma here.
Just recently, my VO issued me a working visa (after 3 long months of waiting) but my problem is that my passport is due to expire sometime in july of 2006. If I applied for the renewal of my passport, will my visa still be acceptable or does it automatically mean that once my passport expires, the visa also expires?

We have returning residents visa's and when my son Passport ran out we just applied for a new passport then went into NZIS and had them transfer his Visa to the new passport cost $50 to transfer visa

AS above, take the old and the new passport to NZIS (or post them), pay your $50 and they will swap the visas from the old to the new.
