Our EOI was selected on May 25 and on August 15th NZIS requested further info which we promptly supplied (19/8). On 21/8, online status had changed to Decision Successful. We thought that the ITA would be arriving in a few days time, but we are still waiting. We then sent an e-mail (6/9)to enquire why it had not yet been sent, and NZIS replied and said ITA will be sent shortly as they are still awaiting the new Medical Forms which should be sent with every ITA. Has any one had this same case scenario.

:yes don't worry, I started to worry when ours didnt arrive, funny thing was that it arrived the day I emailed our case worker. We are now in the middle of filling it in and gathering the stuff together, we have had an offer on our house so fingers crossed!

Bah our ITA contained NO medical forms.

We had to download them and print them off, that was the old style tho, not sure if the new ones are online yet.

Thanks guys for your responses. I guess we have to 'dig deep' into our patience and await NZIS. It just seems strange that it has taken so long to dispatch the ITA even given the need to enclose the medical forms which were apparently available online on their site on 30/8. I wonder which forms they are waiting for.

Rob, the medical forms are not included in the ITA pack, You can either do as you did, and print them off from the NZIS website, or your doctor will probably have them, but it is worth checking when you make your appointment.

We thought that the ITA would be arriving in a few days time, but we are still waiting.

Welcome to the world of NZIS! A large dose of patience is required, easy to say when you have been through it, but it will arrive. When the postie arrives with a huge package for you, you will then have the task of gathering and submitting all of your stuff. Take your time and check everything off the list provided. Make certain that the envelope you send to NZIS is packed in list order. If you need any help, pm me and I'll try my best.

Good luck to you on your venture.

Steve - interview last Monday, decision results withing 2 weeks!!! Lookin good. ;) :cheers

Are you sure?, I thought the new forms were put on the net 30/8. If you have managed to find the old form on line somewhere PLEASE send me the link. I've looked everywhere for them and can't find them.
My understanding is that old forms will be exceped until some date at the end on Nov, (the 28th rings a bell but I would have to check) and we have friends who's son would pass the old medical form OK but will struggel with the new one. They have been selected but like everyone else are waiting to get their ITA papers through. They were hoping to get the medical done under the old scheme but found the forms had disapeared off the net.
Debbie.

I would endorse the thing about Download-It-Yourself. That's what our doctor told us to do when we made the appointment.
Singel posted this link in the medical part of this site. Hope it's helpful.
