Can anyone in Chch recommend a dentist? Not urgent.... need check ups.

Hi Moorf

I see a great dentist called Chris Hansen at Barrington Dental Centre. Very pleasant, reassuring and not at all scary like some dentists. I have a lot of confidence in his abilities too.

(Bit of useless information...I once had a dentist in North Wales who was a very scary looking, tall with a great big bushy beard - and he had fingers that smelt like cheesy wotsits!! URGHH! I shudder thinking about him....)

Also heard good reports about Bealey Ave dentists - situated near corner of Columbo Street

We use the one on Linwood Ave (near to the KFC).

The guy is very good, reasonably priced and even does Saturday mornings at no extra charge.

He's asian but has a kiwi accent so either came here young or was born here I would say. Very nice guy.

Thanks George - I think that's the one our neighbour uses and apparently he still uses gas instead of injections - so that's put him top of the list now! :nice1
