When somebody has a few indiscretions :oops: on their police check.

We will basically have to write a begging letter to NZIS to say how much my husband has changed and why they should grant him a work visa.

Bearing in mind that these things happened over 10yrs ago when he was young single and foolish so he will have to prove his good character.

It makes us feel quite pessimistic that they will not take any notice of our letter and they are just going through the motions and procedure only to take our money and say thanks but no thanks. :no

We will have to wait about 1-2 wks initially then who knows how long for a decision. :hopeso

Hmm, I guess it really amounts to what the "indiscretions" are and how many of them!

I doubt such things as speeding etc will worry NZIS... an axe murderer might turn some heads though! :laugh
