Don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, apologies if not. I just wonder if there are any teachers working in NZ schools who could let me know a bit about how they deal with kids with special needs. Our 8 year old appears to have some form of mild ASD and has some problems with his behaviour, nothing major but does sometimes need some extra support from a teaching assistant at his current school, so I was just wondering how NZ schools might cope with him. Any advice/views experiences from anyone would be really helpful.
