Sorry folks, I'm having a bit of a time of it with multi-map.

Can anyone in the North Isl tell me how long it would take ( give or take ) to get from Katikati to Manurewa, South Auckland. Obviously by road, and within business hours, PLEASE.

It's been another one of those day's I'm afraid.

Eeek, just checked on www.wises.co.nz, (http://www.wises.co.nz,) for driving directions and it gives a distance of 141km. Are you mad???? ;)

But saying that it does look all a main road, and not the heavy traffic lanes like the Auckland motorways, and you are coming from the south and not having to go through central auckland, so that helps.

Even at an average of 80kph it would take you nearly two hours, and you may not reach that speed during busy spots, specially as you hit the outskirts of Auckland, apparently from Bombay Hills up can get very busy. Even though the rural roads have the 100kph limit, its not always possible to keep that speed up due to slower traffic and hills with some very sharp bends thrown in for good measure!

Am I mad, I've been known to have my moments from time to time. ;) . I'll just keep taking the tablets.
I did realise there didn't seem to be a direct'ish route, just not quite that far, or indirect'ish :laugh .
I'll have a rethink.
