When deciding what to take I've been wondering, how easy is it to get parts for things you owned in the UK, stuff which you bought with you but now needs a little repair?
Say it works fine still but needs a new bit to it to keep it running. I can't think of any other example except a switch which wears out or a bulb needs replacing or a new rubber seal or something. An annoying little thing which you'd just nip round to "bloggs" to get the spare part, fit it and the appliance would keep going for another couple of years or so.
Do you just keep things going until this happens then get rid of them and buy new in NZ or send home for said part or what?
