These are all paid activities, so you would probably need to spread them out a bit (prices are on the websites listed)
Sky tower, went yesterday at about dusk so we got to see the sunset, trouble was it started raining which kind of hid the sun! But never mind, we enjoyed it. resisted the temptation to do the bungy jump! Its a similar experience to the Stratosphere in Vegas, although sky tower is higher! It even has glass panels in the floor of the viewing platform so it feels like you are standing on fresh air!

Kelly Tarltons, we went there on a wet windy wintry day a couple of months ago. was great for anyone who has never seen a penguin close up, and enjoys seeing fish/sharks really close up, and swimming over your head! Had some massives rays as well. Great for kids (specially big ones :yes )

Auckland Zoo, had to say this was a disappointment to me having been glued to the series "The Zoo" for months now (although did see Trent on his rounds), I was expecting it to be bigger, but saying that the enclosures are quite big, the animals dont appear to be distressed and they seem to be well looked after. Take a picnic there are plenty of little picnic spots all around the zoo, and as the car park is not miles away, you could even leave the picnic in the car until you needed it. The kids we saw there were all loving it, maybe I am just too old for this stuff :( . But I did know the names of half of the animals (am I sad or what).
