Hello everybody, nice to have such a great source of information for beginners like myself .:nice1
I have some questions about the immigration process:
Assuming I have 100 points without a job offer, my EOI is 100% to be drewn from the pool?
If I get the ITA, do I need to provide any other documents concerning my working experience?
Since the is no NZ ambessy in Israel, how do the NZIS supposed to check my working experience or interview me?
What is supposed to written in the cover letter?
Thank you, Omer!!!

Hi Omer. Welcome to the forum - it's a real friendly place and there's tons of information available.
Currently it seems 100 points is enough to get drawn from the pool. After that you WILL have to prove your work experience. I don't think that has any relevance to having an Embassy - you will have to send your formal application somewhere and it will need to include all relevant documentation.
As for interview, I understand this is often conducted by telephone, so your location may not be that important.
Do a search on the forum for "cover letter", there have been several threads on what these should contain.
Good luck Omer. Hope all goes well for you :cheers:cheers

Welcome Omar.
As Cardiff Irons has already said, you will have to prove your work experience for the ITA, along with proof of all your qualifications, medicals and police checks. The EOI is just the beginning and yes, you will be selected with 100 points until such time as the selection level rises (it hasn't for 12 months!).
To prove your work experience you will need to provide letters of reference, or employment contracts etc. You will send this written evidence off with your ITA (which you will receive if/when you are drawn from the pool with your 100 pts). It is at the ITA stage where they take a good look at your application from all angles so you need to put a lot of effort into it to make sure it contains all the info you can possibly provide.
What field of work are you in Omar? Tell us a little about yourself, where you are hoping to live in NZ etc :nice1
Hope that helps.

My name is Omer, 24 years old, from Israel. For the past 6 years I have been an assistent editor at a locak newspaper. Two months ago I finished my B.A. degree in Communication and Psychology.
Like many Israelis, I am tired of tring to "keep my head above the water".
My initial plan was to immigrate to Canada, but they didn't approve my working experience, so I decided to look for other anglosax country and I found that in New Zealand I have the best chances and it is the quickest.
After a quick assessment I saw that I have excatly 100 points and decided to inquire further.
I assume I have much work in order to decide where is the best place to sattle because I have never been in NZ.
Because almost everything was ready to apply to Canadian PR I don't need to work too hard to gather the rest of the documents. Infact, the only thing that I need to get is a letter from my employer and instruct him what to say when the NZIS will call him to verify my employment.
Still, I have some questions about the process.
What are they going to ask me in the interview?
The fact that I have 100 points but don't have a job offer can influnce their desicion?

I'm afraid I can't answer your question regarding the interview as we didn't have one - I am sure someone else on the forum can help.
However, with regards to having 100 points and no job. This might affect their decision on what type of visa to offer you. Your main focus at the moment should be getting your EOI selected and completing and submitting your ITA to establish that you are indeed eligble to be considered for any type of visa. It's only then that you need worry about interviews.
