Would like to hear about your experience with taking 'Dogger' to NZ, we have a cat, and originally we were going to give him to our daughter, but I keep looking at him and thinking about not leaving him behind (qute ginger with a serious sense of humor) we got a quote at the York Expo and it was a grand!

I am in the middle of sorting the house, and the Carboots are going to be busy when I finally find the time to go to one, so far 2/4 is CB the other 1/4 is my daughters stuff and I have 4 boxes for NZ so far (little boxes!) wow what a load of junk I hoarded.

Hope the Party goes well and that you have a stream of WELL WISHERS to send you on your journey. :nice1

Keep us uptodate on the forum

Hi blue

Would like to wish you all the best in moving and hope everything goes smoothly for you. We will be moving to the Napier area in Janurary as my Husband has a job in Hastings. Would love to hear your opinions on the area when you get settled. As was written on the end of a letter from my husbands employers, "Above all stay stress free". :nice1

HI Blue
Just wanted to add my best wishes for the comming weeks and have a safe journey. When you get a mo to catch your breath let us all know that you are well and how it all went for you. GA will probably take my hound over, (mainly as they are the ones I keep hearing good things about), would love some feed back on that and taking the car when you have had time to sort yourself out.
Happy travels, Debbie

Hi Dot - well good luck in your venture. Will no doubt hook up when we get down there. The dogs send their best to your furry family and they are sorry they couldn't make the send off! :)

Send us loads of pics of Napier and the surroundings. Take care.

Good luck with the journey and let me know how your furry friends get on with Golden Arrow, ours are joining us here in Hawks Bay in a few weeks time.

We arrived in Hawks Bay 3 weeks ago, and although we are still reeling with culture shock, I love it. So give me a PM if you need anything when you arrive. We have spare house things, as our container arrived quicker than expected this week. So I have double the amount of stuff we need.

Hope to meet up sometime when you get here

Nicola and Peter.

All the best Dot and don't forget to fill us in with all the details on the other side.

You have the patience of a saint waiting all this long.............I am sure it will be worth it.

Take care

Thanks again everyone.
The fur family went at 11.30 and the man came in a very clean unmarked van! He stayed for half an hour and had a cuppa. Bessie is very nervous of strangers and he sat untill she came to him and eventully gave him a kiss! He was really very nice. the hounds went into very large plastic kennels and the 4 cats into larger than normal cat carriers. Spice my large persian had an even bigger one. I broke my heart when they all went off and am up at 5am this morning couldnt sleep! I rang in the afternoon and they asked me where I got my hounds from and told me how lovely they are and that they are all settled.
The party went on untill 11.30 and I felt exhausted. My son in law disconnected my cooker and cleared out my freezer and took down some bit and bobs that needed to be unscrewed.
He also cleaned the inside of my car. It is going to be going to a drying off room after it is steamed cleaned I told them about the car that turned up with mushrooms growing in there so am not too worried.
It went really well and so many people turned up they started parking on the green outside!
Today I am going to pack my suitcases.
I also am going to take little Paddys ashes down to the park. My little terrier that passed away just before x.mas. There is a tree down there that he used to run to after he had chased a squirrel and he always went back to it. I have decided that it will be a nice place for him to go so will be shedding a few more tears today!
Thanks for your kind offer Nicola I have pm'd you.
