Been working there for it would of been 8 years on the 12th oct! Had a leaving do which was rushed as not been able to work the full notice last week but they have organised another at lunch time for me.
Got a lot of goodbyes and have been really happy working there but life moves on as they say.
The hardest thing has been saying goodbye to some of my patients that I have known since I stated to the job. Had some tears from a couple.
Tomorrow the packers are coming in.

How I hated all the goodbyes!!!
I was crying for around 2 weeks leading up to them, and the final goodbyes were still worse than I thought they would be.
I have made a couple of really good friends here (who are brits) and we still can't talk about our goodbyes without crying :laugh
But you have got alot to look forward to and thats what gets you through it.

Must be hard Blue, but hopefully happy memories will stay with you rather than sad goodbyes. I'm sure they're all really chuffed for you. Best of luck the packers tomorrow. How I wished it was us .... thinking of you.

Hi when I got in there was ballons and posters up everywhere. They gave me a framed enlarge pic of all of us at my wed pub lunch and a wolverhampton football shirt with my name on the back as a reminder of wolverhampton. One of my colleagues whom is a strong Man utd supporter was apparently bullied into getting it for me.
after our fish and chips from the chippy they all came out with me to the car to see me off and my god you should of seen what they had done. It was covered in ballons streamers etc and I was taking it straight to the dealership ready to be steam cleaned!
Went into town and collected my tickets for the flight then to the solicitor as nothing had been signed. I got there and he came downstairs looking glum carrying a fax I nearly passed out but thank god they had just signed and exchanging on the 7th as planned so had a really good day.
